Group Realtors Receive Training for Distressed Properties

Over 65 Group Realtors have completed the required coursework to earn the Certified Distressed Property Expert designation. The intensive 2 day course was taught at the Group’s Harmony Office by training personnel from The Distressed Property Institute. A Certified Distressed Property Expert (CDPE) is a real estate professional with specific understanding of the complex issues confronting the real estate industry, and the foreclosure avoidance options available to homeowners. The developers of the CDPE Designation believe that the best course of action for a homeowner in distress is to speak with a well-informed, licensed real estate professional. They have the tools needed to help homeowners find the best solution for their situation. With a growing nationwide network of more than 14,200 real estate professionals, the Certified Distressed Property Expert Designation is changing the way real estate veterans deal with the dynamic industry. The measure of success includes how many families have been saved, how many foreclosures have been avoided, how many neighborhoods have been spared, and in the way real estate professionals are turning the tide of trouble in the real estate industry.
